It's a Before & After Monday!

I did absolutely nothing this weekend but it seems not everyone was a lazy slug.

Jess at J Paris Designs is a genius when it comes to rehabs and re-dos.  She finds
the neglected, the abused, the discarded and gives them a new look and a new life.
Check out just a few of her incredible makeovers:

And never underestimate a woman with a miter box and a saw!
the Before:

After:

The little particle-board stand on the left is barely noticeable.
But look what a little molding and paint turned it into:

A Champagne Lifestyle

Bec at Practically Creative nabbed these matching cabinets for $40,
painted the pair and anchored them to a desk she already owned.
What a great sewing room addition!

Samantha at Honey Sweeet Home found this outdated
hutch and cabinet at a thrift store . . . . . .
. . . . and turned them into this sophisticated, chic piece:

Jilly of Girls with Good Taste purchased this faded, elegant
chair and it's mate with an unbelievable rehab in mind:

Right?!  Wow.

Without a doubt one of the most creative rehabbers on the planet is Lauren of West Furniture Revival.
Who else could turn a create and boards from a pallet into an English chest?

Here are a couple of Lauren's other projects:

A pair of vintage Campaign chests were turned into a Thing of Beauty!

We have all seen chairs like the one below at thrift shops and yard sales:
     before:                                  after:

   An amazing transformation!

I hope you have a chance to visit each of these ladies' sites to view many of their other projects.  Thanks for stopping by!
