I think we should start the week with some Before & After projects, don't you?

Remade Simple

Courtney, of Apprentice Extrovert, was commissioned to
renovate a set of dining room chairs and experimented with
different treatments.  Which is your favorite?

If you come across a bargain that has a mate,
buy the second one, too.  You won't regret it.

And how sad is this little dresser?

But, look how happy it is now!
The Quirky Quail

Apparently, the word is getting out to thrift shops and used
furniture stores that 60s dressers are very popular to restore.
The prices are beginning to go up so snag one while they're
relatively inexpensive.

Local humane societies, Habitat for Humanity offices, and area churches
sponsor thrift shops with prices that are often lower than national
organizations such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army.  As with all
purchases, be a smart comparison shopper.

    1. I'm a confessed Before & After addict and scour the internet for interesting re-dos and transformations. Isn't it amazing the different the molding, wainscoating, and solid doors made in that bedroom? Love it!

  2. I really love the different treatments on the Dining Room chairs. They all look great but my favorites are the Pink and Black & White stripe. This is a great recap of many before and after possibilities. If you have a minute come check out my post today on a Before and After Kitchen makeover.
