You might be surprised by today's Before & After Friday post.
Instead of oohing and aahing over renovated furniture, we're
going to drool over vintage jewelry makeovers.

Have you inherited an heirloom wedding set from your parents or grandparents?
You might want to consider turning the rings into a custom pendant:

The Susan Eisen jewelry studio specializes in converting old rings into gorgeous earrings and necklaces:

Look how older pieces of jewelry were
upcycled into a new custom piece:

A vintage 1950s cocktail ring was redesigned into a stunning pendant:
The Perfect Setting

Even though these earrings are beautiful, I
prefer the band from which they were created:

There is a thriving business among jewelers that involves
redesigning wedding rings and bands following a divorce:

A lovely neighbor had a cocktail ring, given to her by her late
husband, redesigned into two memory rings for her granddaughters.

A loose Peridot and stones from an older
pendant were used to create this gorgeous slide:

Diamonds from an older mounting were
used to make an entirely new ring:

A beautiful bezel set solitaire was enhanced with the
addition of small stones and a white gold setting:

The solitaire is less than a 1/2 carat but by the time
you add the pave surround, it appears much larger.

These two rings were combined to make an entirely different ring:

A dated ring guard was transformed into a striking custom ring:

If you have pieces of jewelry that you no longer wear,
consider taking them to an accredited jeweler and discuss
the possibility of having them redesigned.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend, friends.
